Tidenda

Editorial software

A newsroom that fits in one hand, or four hundred.

Write, edit and publish in one tool. Solo journalists get going the same afternoon. Larger newsrooms shape workflows, wire coverage and AI to match how the room already runs.

Sized to the newsroom, not the logo above the door.

Independent operators want to write and publish without a training course. Larger newsrooms want assignment desks, workflow states, roles and an audit trail. Tidenda ships both in the same install. One setting decides which one you see.

One-person publications

Simple mode. Write, edit, publish.

The workflow and the planning surface stay out of the way. Ideal for a solo reporter or a two-person newsletter that needs to move fast without ceremony.

Planning mode. Assignments, desks, deadlines.

Plan the day around planning items and assignments. Each article moves through a workflow you defined. Roles decide who can transition what.

The editorial surface

Every field is collaborative. Every field works on a phone.

Headlines, bodies, bylines, planning slots, tags. All of it edits in real time with cursors, presence and per-user undo. The interface adapts down to a reporter's phone in the field and up to a four-monitor desk, without a separate mobile app.

  • Real-time on every fieldTwo editors can rewrite the same paragraph at the same time and neither loses their place.
  • Custom workflowsDraw the states, connect the transitions, decide who can move what.
  • One layout, any screenReporters file from a phone. Desks work on four monitors. The layout responds to the room.

Wires and AI

Coverage arrives with a category. Translation, summary and rewrite ride the workflow.

Subscribe to Reuters, TT, AP or an internal feed. Items land in the newsroom already tagged by topic and prioritised. Every workflow state can carry an AI step, so one click produces a translated, rewritten draft ready for a human pass.

Newswires from three sources, categorised on ingest. Items with AI activity carry the ember pulse.

Newswire ingest

Reuters, TT, AP or custom sources. Items enter as drafts, categorised and prioritised on arrival.

AI on transitions

Bind an operation to a workflow transition. Translate, categorise, rewrite, summarise. The model runs where the workflow says.

Bring your own provider

OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint, including a local model. Keys stay with the tenant.

Assets

A built-in asset library. A signature on every image.

Photographs, illustrations and graphics live next to the articles that use them. Metadata, captions, rights and photographer credit stay attached. Every image carries an Ed25519 signature over its original bytes, and any C2PA manifest supplied with the file is validated on ingest and preserved end-to-end. Two provenance signals travel together, downstream readers can verify either one.

Publisher

A live site, one click away.

Flip the publisher on and your tenant gets a working site on the spot. No infrastructure, no build step, no separate stack. Point your own domain when you are ready. Add a DNS TXT record, we verify and issue TLS automatically.

Integrations

Hooks, events, API. Wire the room into what you already run.

Outbound webhooks fire when a document transitions. Payloads carry an HMAC over the body and an Ed25519 signature over the snapshot. Deliveries retry with backoff and replay from the admin UI. The public injection API accepts newswire, planning and article writes over a per-tenant key.

Signed outbound webhooks

HMAC-SHA256 on the request, Ed25519 on the snapshot. Verifiable in any language, idempotent, replayable.

Public injection API

POST documents into a single tenant on a scoped key. Ideal for importers, wire feeds and third-party integrations.

Ten minutes to know if it fits the room.

One workflow, one draft, one publish. The first user is free for a year.
